Designing Health Communities - Films of Vision & Hope comes to Sunnyvale 3/29 & 4/26/12

Designing Healthy Communities
This mini-series consists of two films from the 2012 PBS series, "Designing Healthy Communities." http://designinghealthycommunities.org/ Hosted and narrated by Richard Jackson, MD, MPH, the films examine the link between our health and the way our communities — especially our suburbs — are designed. The films include inspiring American examples of communities choosing to change their built environments to make them less auto-dependent, healthier and more inviting. Short discussion follows each film. Snacks provided. FREE.
