Don’t miss this fascinating film and inspiring story.
Join us for a showing of this Academy Award nominated documentary about a community garden started in South Central LA, followed by a discussion with Tezozomoc, one of the farm's leaders.
Since their eviction in 2006 from the land where they had grown food for a decade, these urban farmers are moving forward on new sites today and
feeding more residents of LA than ever before.
The film will begin a few minutes after 7 pm. Q & A with Tezozomoc of the South Central Farmers Cooperative will start around 8:30 pm.
Seating is first-come, first-serve at Acterra, 3921 East Bayshore Road, Palo Alto, CA 94303
