Local Garden Share at Full Circle Farm Sunnyvale 07/24/11
Sunnyvale Local Garden Share
Neighbors Sharing Food/Flowers/Herbs from their Gardens
Sunday, July 24, 2011
11am - Noon
FREE!
Full Circle Farm (on the campus of Peterson Middle School)
1055 Dunford Way (East Gate) in Sunnyvale
www.fullcirclesunnyvale.org
Join us to share in the bounty of our gardens--- homegrown fruit, vegetables, eggs, herbs, honey, and flowers! Bring what you have to share; take home something you don’t have.
Think of it as a “free” backyard farmers’ market.
Throughout the Bay Area neighbors are coming together to share locally grown, fresh produce. Our Sunnyvale sharing event is supported by a coalition of community, ecological, and neighborhood groups including: Acterra, Full Circle Farm, Sunnyvale Cool, SummerWinds Sunnyvale and Transition Silicon Valley.
Any items remaining at the end of the event will be provided to Sunnyvale Community Services for distribution to those in need.
Hope to see you there!
